The Invincible Iron Man #12 (2023)
One time we rented a Hertz for literally half a day to drive to Disney World, Cape Canaveral, and then back to the airport. We went to Publix at 7am, they said it was too early to sell me a box of wine. To be fair though, I did want box wine because I thought it would be the easiest thing to drink while in the car. Instead we loaded up on Dr. Pepper and ginger ale. Since we were only there for the day, we only drank maybe four and we left about twenty cans of soda in the rental car. Somehow, this got a lifetime ban from Hertz.

Bucky and I celebrated our first year together in West Virginia this week. I’m putting together a longer video for Instagram, but here’s a little taste. Head to Bucky's page for the whole video! We ate a lot of bbq meats and diner foods. Corn nuggets are the best thing I have ever had.
Amazing Spider-Man #37 (2023)
I have a friend like this
This is post 100! Amazing Spider-Man was starting at #1 the week I began buying comics. For better or for worse, it got me going into the store every week. This is also around the blog’s anniversary!
Doom Patrol #37 (1990)
Fit check: Immaculate
It’s very interesting to see what “alternative” meant back in 1990 compared to how they present the characters today, they have Negative Man dressed like he’s in a Swing Revival band. You can imagine how outdated the language is surrounding Danny The Street. Crazy Jane has no grunge to her look, unless this is what that looked like back then. I can’t tell if she’s supposed to be fashionable or eclectic or kitschy, but she reminds me of a fashionable Jojo character.

Happy Thanksgiving!
This year I brined a ham and a turkey. This was my first year doing the turkey for my family dinner, so I didn’t mess with it too much. Every year I refill my kitchen with new bottles of sauces and use the old bottles on the ham. You could say it’s different every year, or technically you could say it’s always the same recipe
This is also a thing we do
