There’s some wild scenery out in the South West, I now understand why so many artists portray it in depictions of America while ignoring the East. Part of the reason for that is you can see so far. There’s plenty of beauty on the East side of America but you can’t see further than a few hundred feet in front of you. We stopped for chimichangas in Arizona, the birthplace of the deep fried burrito. This was probably the best thing we ate on the trip. It looks like it’s going to be heavy and sloppy, but it tasted surprisingly light and fresh. I think of it as a South West chicken pot pie. This is comics related because Deadpool likes chimichangas or something. This spot seemed to be famous for chimichangas like Pats and Genos are for cheesesteaks. The seats we sat on were 200 degrees from cooking in the desert heat.

I heard of a new cheesesteak in town, actual gangster Skinny Joey’s. Out front were a bunch of Italian dudes hugging and saying “happy easter”. They were playing The Four Seasons inside, it was awesome. The steak was great, but it wasn’t candy.
This very aggressive squirrel tried muscling in on my territory. He kept inching up to my sneakers.
