So we just crossed the country and I have a lot to show. We stopped in New Orleans for a Bourdain-style three hour tour of the city with our wonderful guide. We played slots at a gay bar, got slushies on Bourbon St., beignets by the river, and were able to hit a comic book store. My friend and I are usually trading books through the mail but this time we could do an in-person handoff. Mister Miracle and Beneath the Trees are his picks for me. He can’t say “no one visits me” anymore!

I’m out of town this week, so the new comics are all old Fantastic Fours. My girlfriend found this lot on Facebook marketplace. I met the guy at a McDonalds and we talked about comic artists we liked for a few minutes, it was very cool.
