Ok so I was in New York City right? Whenever I’m in New York City I think of Spider-Man. Most heroes live in fictional cities, but Spider-Man is more than just from New York, he breathes New York. As I look around at the architecture though, it just evokes feelings of Spider-Man. Everything, probably due to the styles of the various New York eras from Art Deco to Brutalism, evokes the feeling of Spider-Man. There are so many high ceilings, rounded corners, perches, ledges, and dark corners that you could imagine a Man or a Spider may be lurking in and around. Spider-Man is New York, and while I was monolouging about this I looked up and saw this crossbeam

I attended a mahjong tournament up in New York City. Somehow across then games I only won a single hand, and it was NOT a good one (see below).
I thought it would be corny to take a picture of this hand but it was the fourth round and I somehow already knew it was going to be the only hand I won, I also came in last in this particular game. I somehow placed even worse than the last tournament, not sure how that happened. I didn’t even break any rules this time!
It was still a fun little weekend vacation, I had two bagel sandwiches.
