A lot has changed in 40 years!

Anyway,

I heard that some white nationalists were coming to my town to put on an indie wrestling show. The opportunity to see some neo-nazi’s beat each other up? Sounds like fun!

Except as it turned out, they didn’t inform the wrestlers who they were performing for, I heard that they didn’t even know the name of the event or who was throwing it (#Ralphamania).

The crowd yelled every racist and sexist name, slur, and catch-phrase you can assume from these types of people. Just imagine being on Xbox Live in 2004. Many funny hats and t-shirts too.

The big guy in the black tank was my favorite, but it was also very funny to hear the crowd chanting “Short King! Short King!” for the dude who’s like five foot zero or less.

Generally pretty crazy show, nothing bad happened which was good. The presenter got served court papers before the event started so that was out of the way. The most professional wrestlers I’ve ever seen, professional as in they didn’t kill anyone.

And beers were $2!
