Comic Haul week of October 29th, 2024
New comics!
Death of Wolverine: The Weapon X Program #5
Generation X #2
The Amazing Spider-Man #60
The Flash: Season Zero #7
I originally intended on taking pictures at this haunted house thing Reaper’s Revenge in PA, but they didn’t allow use of cameras during the attractions. It whipped hard as hell though! It was like a horror movie ren faire. Anyway, Halloween season is over and I am already working hard to make sure Thanksgiving isn’t forgotten in favor of Christmas. I don’t post food much here unless it’s travel related, but I will be cooking some kind of big meat and homemade raviolis despite petitioning to remove stuffed pasta from turkey dinner for years.
That post-October feeling
Comic Haul week of July 11th, 2023!
New comics!
The Amazing Spider-Man #29
Miles Morales: Spider-Man #8 - Never read a Miles Morales Spider-Man, I picked this up by accident but I’ll give it a shot since Amazing Spider-Man is a wet fart currently
Unstoppable Doom Patrol #4
I sent a few comics in to get rated and picked these out just because they were funny. As you can see, the cases are very reflective… probably keeps them safe?
Comic Haul week of June 6th, 2023!
New comics!
Fantastic Four #8
The Flash #800
Phantom Road #4
The Invincible Iron Man #7
Poison Ivy #13
Cowboy Bebop #4
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vs. Street Fighter #1
Junk Rabbit #3
I did a much-needed upgrade to one of my PC’s this week. For a while I was using a case that I made for around $10 out of pieces from Ikea. It was “much needed” because I much needed these cardboard rectangles to hold more comics, and the fabric cube was starting to sag.
It was a funny little computer though, I challenged myself to make a computer for as cheaply as possible. Should out to the Intel Athlon 3000g, the $85 duel core processor with integrated video that made this all possible!
Comic Haul week of February 7th, 2023!
New comics!
Static: Shadows of Dakota #1 - I’ve been thinking that Static Shock has a lot of untapped potential as a franchise. More people remember the show than you might immediately think, and people remember it fondly. He’s a great character that people genuinely like and it tells stories that tackle issues in a way that still feels honest.
The Amazing Spider-Man #19
Red Goblin #1
Gold Goblin #4 - How many Spider-Man stories can they run at one time?
Joe Fixit #2
The Flash #792 - Why would they name both Flash and Kid Flash Wally West, why would they do that?
Poison Ivy #9
Secret Invasion #4
Captain Planet and the Planeteers #6 - He laughed and let me have this one for free
