New comics!

Fantastic Four #4

The Invincible Iron Man #3

Wasp #2 - Catching up on this before the movie

I snuck a stromboli and two bud lights into Ant-Man 3, I suggest you do the same

Movie predictions:

  • Progressive take on Reed Richards

  • Hank Pym is a skrull but not a bad one

  • I don’t have a third honest prediction that I could actually believe, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they work in an X-Man

Comic Haul week of January 17th, 2023!

New comics!

Deadly Neighborhood Spider-Man #4 - Mostly reading this because the covers are so cool

Nightwing #100 - Is this 100 a big deal? I think it might be. I love this series and the worst thing I’ve heard about it from other readers is “lackluster story held up by great art” which is actually a ringing endorsement from these petty nerds

The Invincible Iron Man #2 - #1 really surprised me. I’m interested in how they’re going to tell Iron Heart’s story for people who do not know her (me) who will be seeing her in a cinematic universe where Tony Stark is dead.

Wasp #1 - This looks like something similar to what they did with Ant Man last year, a tour through the Wasps of the past.

Some new developments, I got a raise at work and I’m upgrading my home office. That includes a SCANNER. I like taking pictures of the paper panel pages but there still might be some use for it. I think that it looks cooler to have the image slightly skewed by the camera angle, the hard lines warped by the bend in the pages, and the light on a gradient from a natural source. It ensures that my pictures are unique interpretations instead of raw rips. The scanner could be useful for covers though, some of the glossy variants get a crazy glare.

This fish looks like the carpet in The Shining.
